Privacy policy

In short
- We collect only what practice needs: your email and name, your grade and target contests, and how you practice.
- We never ask for your birth date, school ID, phone number or contest results.
- Your practice data is stored in Canada. We don't sell it and we don't use it for advertising.
- You can download your data or delete it at any time in Settings, or by emailing info@Learn4Less.ca.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address and name (from your Learn4Less sign-in).
- Setup: your grade, the contests you're aiming for, and an optional contest date.
- Practice: your answers, hints and solutions you opened, written solutions (and photos of handwritten work, if you upload them), notes, saved problems and problems you report.
2. Why we use it
- To run your practice: check answers, track what you've solved, bring back problems you missed, and suggest what to do next.
- To improve problems, hints and solutions, using combined, de-identified numbers only.
3. If you join a teacher's class
When you join a class with a code, the teacher (and any co-teacher) can see your name, email and the work you do on their assignments: answers, written solutions and marks. They cannot see your own practice outside their assignments. You can leave a class at any time.
4. Where it's stored
Our database and uploaded files are hosted in Canada (Montréal region). Sign-in is provided by Clerk, which processes account data in the United States.
L4L Olympiad does not send your work to AI services.
5. Your choices
- Download a copy of your data from Settings.
- Delete your L4L Olympiad data from Settings. Anonymous problem statistics may remain.
- Email info@Learn4Less.ca for anything else.
6. Age
You need to be at least 13 to create your own account. Younger students can use L4L Olympiad by joining a teacher's class; their school or teacher is responsible for consent. If you're under 19 (the age of majority in BC), please read this policy with a parent or guardian.
7. Law and contact
Learn4Less Tutoring Services Ltd. handles personal information under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, PIPEDA. Our privacy contact for L4L Olympiad is info@Learn4Less.ca.
